when it comes  to adapting it can be difficult Purple Hearts is no exception. A Netflix original  quickly became popular so popular  that Tess Wakefield made a novel however  she made a few changes and those are noticeable when you watch the movie then read the book most things stay the same  the changes I’ve seen are a character name change and a scene change. in the book the chapters are labeled  differently then other books. this  makes it different  then other books. this novel is meant for teens. you can buy the book on online
