LeBron James breaks NBA’s all-time scoring record

LeBron James has surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the all-time leader in regular-season points scored in the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers star set a record during the third quarter of Tuesday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder in front of a raucous crowd at L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena. James set the record with a fadeaway jumper with 10.9 seconds left in the third quarter. The game was halted as NBA Commissioner Adam Silver and Abdul-Jabbar approached mid-court to honor James, who appeared moved. This is a memorable moment for the goat because all of his hard work paid off in this one moment. All of the sweat and effort he put into the game.
