The USWNT for women’s soccer takes home the trophy and takes the title in the Concacaf Gold Cup. After a 3-0 win against Colombia, they headed to the semifinals against Canada. The rainy game against Canada went 2-2 to the end, with one goal by Jaedyn Shaw and the other by Sophia Smith. They dominated in penalties 3-1 and headed to finals against Brazil.
The final game against Brazil was a very even match. Lindsey Horan managed to score in the late first half and they fought to hold the score. The final score remained to be 1-0 and the USWNT are Gold Cup Champions.
