These last few weeks of school can be tough. Testing, ap exams, leaving highschool, barley ending your freshman year. This can have a affect on you. Your attitude, mood, energy, can all be affected during this time. So can be harder to keep a positive mindset and attitude. To get through these next few weeks, try to do some of these things.
Sleep 8+ hours. You may think that studying is more important than sleep. But it is the opposite. Sleep is a essential part of your health and is what gives you your energy for the day. Drinking a sugary energy drink is not going to cut it for the energy needed in a day. If you find yourself up late due to homeowrk or studying, try to plan out your work better. If you have time during school to complete some work do that instead of maybe going on your phone or staring into space. This can help reduce time at home for doing homework.
Eat healthy and filling meals. I understand that maybe eating can be hard. You don’t have enough time in the morning to eat breakfast, pack a snack or lunch, etc. But relying on simply one snack or meal a day is not going to cut it. Being a student myself I also do not like school food that much. So to avoid not eating anything through out the day, try to pack a healthy and filling lunch or snacks to have. Along with that make sure to drink water through out the day.
Take breaks. School is draining physically and mentally. It is important to step away from your schoolwork for a bit. If that is going to the grocery store with your parent, hanging out with your friends, or going on a walk by yourself. Taking time to yourself is essential to stay positive during tough times in school. It gives you and your mind a break.
Try to stay positive warriors!
