I wasn’t expecting much before watching Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, because the previews and commercials for the movie didn’t look very scary. However, after seeing the movie, I don’t think it wasn’t too bad. The acting was fairly decent, if not a little awkward at times, but overall I thought they did well with what they were given. The cinematography was also great, and in the more spooky stories the effects looked amazing. However the stories were not that scary, like I feared. I wouldn’t recommend paying 10.90 to watch it, and if you’re interested I would wait to see it in the old theater.
