Elf is a comedy that came out in 2003, it was a Christmas hit. Will Ferrell plays a human named Buddy, who was raised by elves. Buddy soon realizes he doesn’t belong and because of that, he travels to NYC in search of his father. His father embodies the opposite of Buddy’s beliefs and just so happens to hate Christmas and be on the naughty list. Together with the help of his family and friends, Buddy learns he can fit in anywhere. Buddy also learns he can be both human and elf. His story is told from the point of view of Poppa Elf, who raised him. The movie features an excellent cast and lots of comedy throughout the whole thing.
