Groundhog day is next Monday taking place on February second. Punxsutawney Phil will emerge from his burrow in Pennsylvania and decide if we will endure the cold for six more weeks or have a early spring. How does he do this you may ask. Well, if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow he will retreat back into his burrow and we will have to endure 6 more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t see his shadow we will have a early spring. I am rooting for a early spring because this winter has been long enough.
