Yesterday on May 12, I had my senior night for softball. I was so excited weeks leading up to this night because this night was to honor me and my fellow senior friends in fun ways! A few days before the game, the seniors and I met up in our coach’s classroom and made boards for our special night. It was so fun seeing all of our softball pictures from when we were little. I have grown up playing with the 4 other seniors since I was 8, so getting to spend my high school career with them was very special.
We started off by warming up for our game, during warmups we were pulled aside to make a video that involved us and a baby board that our mom’s made of us. It was cute to see all of our baby pictures. We continued warmups until the ceremony started. I walked out with my parents, sister, and boyfriend. We walked as the announcer read my speech. My 3 favorite underclassmen brought me flowers and a basket. We took a few pictures then walked off. We played our game which ended in a 11-1 win!

After the game, the seniors got paint on our hands and signed off on a poster. It was so sad to be leaving these girls, but it was such an amazing night! I got to spend potentially my last high school softball game with such amazing friends and teammates as well as family. I had an amazing last season, and I can’t wait to play in college!
