Phones are usually seen as a distraction by teachers in the classroom, but they always can be super good tools to use in class. In a modern world where technology has become apart of everyday life it can always help students if they struggle in school.
Phones can have alot of potential: it can help students access information about an assignment easier if they forget their chromebook in another class or if its dead. A phone is also way more comfortable to use, and it can help engage in more lessons. Instead of trying to figure out if they should be allowed we should focus on the positives:how to help education!

Students can easily check their grades and when an assignment is due. Phones dont always have cons, they have pros too. And it is about time where we see the positives in phones in the classroom.
Phones can help students be independent, it can encourgage curiosity and independence at the same time. Phones are not always an educational need, sometimes in can be used for enagement in the classroom. For example: If a student finished all their missing assignments and has nothing to do for the rest of the class period they can always go onto their phone for engagement, games can help stimulate the brain eaiser.
In the end phones should be allowed in class because of all of these positive and good reasons. If you learn how to use it right you will surely succeed in the future.
