This movie is geared towards a certain crowd but this does not take away from the greatness of this movie. Gran Turismo has all elements of a good movie. It is heart wrenching, touching, and very moving. Gran Turismo is about a young gamer who is dedicated to the game Gran Turismo, created by Kazunori Yamauchi.  This movie is based on a true story and it takes you along the journey of Jann Mardenborough. From family life to understanding who you are, this movie touches on many topics of growing up and finding what you love. Gran Turismo has the best mix of technology, a heartwarming story, and the heart wrenching victory of an underdog. Although this movie is geared towards a certain audience,  everybody should see it.

This movie came out July 30, 2023. This movie did not have extensive marketing so it cold be easy to miss it. Despite this, Gran Turismo surpassed the Barbie movie this weekend. However, Barbie is still the top grossing movie of the year at 1.3 billion dollars.

Kazunori Yamauchi’s net worth is about $60 million.  This movie is based off of a true story which I think makes it better. The real Jann Mardenborough did stunts for Archie Madekwe, the actor who plays Jann Mardenborough. Jann Mardenborough is now a professional racer driver. He is 31 years old and he was born in Darlington, United Kingdom.
